Volunteering is Important!

According to a recent survey of people who volunteer...

68% say it makes them feel physically healthier,
say it lowers their stress level,
92% say it enriches their sense of purpose in life!

*from Success Magazine, 9/10

This gives us three great reasons people should volunteer; even with its frustrations and challenges, serving is fulfilling!

Sign up to serve TODAY! Send and email to Christie to learn more.

Love Your Neighbor!

Ideas for showing love to your neighbor:
  • Cook a meal
  • Write a thoughtful note
  • Take out their trash for them
  • Invite them over for dinner
  • Eat out together (be sure to pay for their meal)
  • Offer to help them conquer a project they've been putting off around the house
  • Ask for prayer requests, or if they would like to pray with you
  • Make something homemade to give to them
  • If they have kids offer them free childcare so they can have a date night
  • If you're someone who can fix things offer to fix something that is broken
  • Pay for the meal of the person behind you in the drive-through.
Stay tuned for more ideas!!!
