Our November Serving our Generation community effort

November's event will take place at Second Harvest Food Bank in Winston-Salem.

If you are interested in learning more about Second Harvest, their website is: http://hungernwnc.org/

We will have a sign-up sheet on Sunday, October 21st - we can only accept the first twenty-five that sign their name on the dotted line! =)

We hope to see you there!

Mike - carrying leaves to the curb

(Many thanks to Mike and his wife Donna. They have been instrumental in our S.O.S. planning and in making today's opportunity a success!)

Donna loves gardening and landscaping!

Josh was determined to mow the lawn - the mower seemed to keep stalling - but he stuck with it!

Carla, Michaela and Kim - raking leaves - and today is Kim's Birthday!!!

Peggy L. wanted to spend her entire time at Grace House washing the inside AND outside of the Grace House van. Go Peggy! (Genee and Heather helped!)

Dan and Herman were taking care of business by pruning the trees in the Grace House Parking Area. (Peggy R. and Christie called them their "muscle men")

Grace House - October 13, 2007

Our team went to Grace House in Winston-Salem today.

We believe in serving our generation (serving our communities) to show God's love in a practical way.

You do not have to be a member of Heavenview to participate in our monthly projects - please contact us to learn about upcoming service opportunities. (Christie's email is chrisponjican@hotmail.com)
