Habitat for Humanity - May's Service Opportunity

We served at the Habitat for Humanity 'ReStore' where we were asked to make a room full of mismatched donated items into a 'Showroom'. We did EXACTLY that!!

With the creative touches of Sugey, Nicola, Peggy L., Carla, the Timmons family, Dana and Genee, the entire store front of the ReStore facility was truly transformed into a showcase.

Our Heavenview team has some VERY talented people!! Sugey has experience in furniture placement and presentation; while the remaining ladies have a great eye for detail and 'staged' the area perfectly with the numerous items to be found by scavenger hunting throughout the store! Thanks to Brother Timmons and Mike, the heavy pieces were moved (and yes, of course, moved again) until the placement was JUST RIGHT!

I think it's safe for me to say that we ALL had a great time as we pulled together as a team. John, the manager of the ReStore, said that we did an exceptional job and are welcome back ANYTIME.

I assured him we would be back in the future to serve again.
